Add the Butter and Herbs

Dot small spoonfuls of butter across the vegetables. Place the rosemary sprig right on top so it can release its flavor as everything roasts.

Roast Until Tender

  • 3 cups butternut squash about 1 squash
  • 1 ½ cups sweet potatoes about 2 sweet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ounce ¼ stick butter
  • 1 large sprig rosemary

Instructions
