Cuisine American
- 12 Oreo cookies
- 1 cup green candy melts
- ½ cup white candy melts
- 12 star sprinkles
- 1 teaspoon nonpareils sprinkles
Melt the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
In another bowl, melt the green candy melts the same way until smooth and creamy.
Dip the bottom half of each Oreo into the white candy melts. Tap gently to remove extra coating, then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Transfer the green candy melts to a piping bag. Drizzle over the Oreos in a zigzag pattern to form the shape of Christmas trees.
While the green drizzle is still soft, press a star sprinkle at the top of each cookie. Scatter nonpareils sprinkles to look like ornaments.
Allow the decorated cookies to set at room temperature, or place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Once firm, remove from the tray and serve. Enjoy!
Work Quickly: Candy melts set fast, so decorate each cookie right after piping the green candy.
Line Your Tray: Always use parchment or wax paper to prevent sticking and to make cleanup easier.
Steady Hands Help: If you want cleaner zigzags, rest your elbow on the counter while piping for more control.
Make Ahead Friendly: These cookies can be prepared a few days in advance and still look fresh and festive.
