Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the smoked salmon, dill, capers, salt, and pepper. Pulse a few times until the mixture is mostly smooth but still has small salmon pieces for texture.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for 20–30 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with extra dill or capers if desired. Serve with toast, crostini, or crackers. Enjoy!

Notes

Keep It Chunky: Pulse the food processor gently to avoid over-blending. You’ll get the best texture with small salmon bits throughout.
Use Quality Salmon: Choose a good-quality smoked salmon for the best flavor. Lower-quality salmon can make the dip overly salty or fishy.
Make Ahead: This dip actually tastes better after a few hours in the fridge. The flavors deepen as it chills.
Serve Chilled: Always serve this dip cold - it’s creamier and more refreshing that way.
