Cuisine American
- 1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice plus extra for garnish
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Whipped cream optional, for topping
Brew your espresso or a strong cup of coffee and set it aside. If you don't have an espresso machine, a French press or pour-over works too.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the almond milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon. Whisk until smooth and heated through, about 3–5 minutes. Do not let it boil.
Pour the brewed coffee into a large mug. Slowly pour the hot spiced pumpkin milk mixture over the coffee and stir gently.
Top with whipped cream if using, and sprinkle extra cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for a cozy touch.
Enjoy your pumpkin spice latte while it’s warm and steamy!
Don't Boil the Milk: Heating it gently keeps the milk from curdling and the pumpkin from becoming too thick.
Use a Milk Frother: If you like a little foam on top, froth the milk mixture before pouring it in.
Make It Iced: Pour the pumpkin milk mixture over iced coffee or espresso for a refreshing version.
Adjust to Taste: Taste as you go - you can always add more spice or sugar depending on your preferences.
