  • White cookie icing
  • Orange cookie icing
  • Black cookie icing
  • 16 Large marshmallows
  • 32 M&Ms

Instructions

  • Spread white cookie icing over each cookie, swirling outward to look like a melted puddle of snow.
  • Place one marshmallow on top of each iced cookie for the snowman’s head. Press gently to secure.
  • Use black icing to add eyes, a mouth, and stick arms. Add orange icing to create a carrot-shaped nose.
  • Place two M&Ms on each cookie to look like buttons.
  • Allow cookies to set for 30–60 minutes until icing has hardened.
  • Serve and enjoy your festive snowman treats!

Notes

Cooling Time Matters: Make sure cookies are fully cooled before decorating, or the icing will slide off.
Thicker Icing Holds Better: If your icing seems thin, let it sit for a few minutes before using so it firms slightly.
Make Ahead Friendly: You can bake the cookies a day in advance and decorate them later for less stress.
Creative Decorating: Encourage kids to give their snowmen “personalities.” A crooked smile or tilted head makes them extra charming.
